Hace 40 años THE ROLLING STONES publicaron "Tattoo You", su decimosexto álbum, que a pesar de tener uno de sus mayores exitos como "Start Me Up" y ser un gran éxito en ventas, en su mayoría se compone de temas que quedaron fuera de discos anteriores.

"Tops" y "Waiting on a Friend" fueron temas que no llegaron a formar parte de Goats Head Soup de 1972, "Start Me Up" inicialmente tenía un ritmo muy cercano al reggae y se trabajó pensando en incluirlo en "Black and Blue" de 1975 y se retomó en 1978 para "Some Girls" con un tono mas rockero.
